That area of interest fixes the extent, the working projection and the compute grid for every layer that follows, so results are directly comparable rather than approximately aligned.

Layers switch on independently and read the current state of that ground — construction progress, vehicle counts, storage levels, vegetation stress, thermal output, structural change since the last pass — composed by declared capability, with every dependency between layers recorded in the result.

Is this a GIS?
No. A GIS is a tool for holding and drawing spatial data. MITHRIL is a set of analytical models that happen to run on a globe — the value is in what each layer computes, not in the storage or the cartography.
How accurate is it?
It depends on the layer, and the product tells you which. Some layers are validated against independent public references — one reproduces an external reference figure to within 0.24% against a 5% tolerance. Others pass internal consistency checks but have not been benchmarked against surveyed events, and are badged and export-blocked accordingly. The distinction is visible in the interface rather than buried in a footnote.
Can you use our own data?
Yes, and for several layers it's expected — cadastre, asset registers, drainage networks, licensed elevation, survey meshes. Client data enters MITHRIL as a declared source with its own provenance, and is never silently blended with public data of a different vintage or datum.
How is it delivered?
As a real-time report. MITHRIL runs on Lualdi Advisors' own instruments, operated by our analysts under a scoped engagement — what you receive is the finished analysis, not a login.
