The announcement
Organizations with confidential data have faced a trade: use the most capable AI and send the data out to reach it, or keep the data at home and settle for less. lualdi.ai removes the trade. Powerful models run on dedicated GPU servers inside the organization, are trained and operated there, and keep working with no outside AI service in the loop. The data never has to travel, so the exposure that comes with sending it elsewhere does not arise.
Lualdi Advisors has announced lualdi.ai as its answer to the AI privacy problem. It is a private large language model deployed on an organization's own servers, with the training and day-to-day operation of powerful models handled inside the organization. The announcement, dated 2026-10-17, covers the models, the deployment, and the controls that keep a client's confidential material under the client's control.
This note sets out the problem the firm set out to solve, what it has built, and where it fits.
Why privacy has held back the most useful AI
The most valuable data in most organizations is the data they can least afford to share, and it is also where AI would help most.
Client files, deal books, trading positions, legal matters, engineering designs and operational records are where the hard, specific problems live. They are also the material that carries duties of confidentiality. For defense, finance, law and any business that holds other people's secrets, the question of where that material goes is a precondition for using AI at all.
Until now, getting a powerful model to that material has generally meant sending it to a service run by someone else. Every prompt, every document and every correction travels to infrastructure the organization does not control, and the organization relies on policy and contract to govern what happens to it there. That line has kept a great deal of sensitive work from ever reaching AI.
Privacy in AI is an architecture question. When the model lives in someone else's data center, the data has to travel to reach it.
Contracts, policies and assurances manage that exposure. Removing it takes a change in where the model runs.
Bringing the models to the data
lualdi.ai reverses the usual direction of travel: advanced models are deployed on dedicated GPU servers inside the organization, so the work happens next to the data.
The result is a deployment in which the client's data, the client's models and the client's users sit inside a single boundary that the client controls. Lualdi Advisors introduces and prepares the models for each client. Once installed, they run entirely under the client's control.
Inside the organization the usual disciplines of access control and data governance still apply. What changes is that no outside party is part of the picture.
| Question | Hosted AI service | lualdi.ai |
|---|---|---|
| Where the model runs | The provider's infrastructure | Dedicated GPU servers inside the organization |
| Where prompts and files go | Out to the provider to reach the model | They stay on the organization's servers |
| Where training material sits | Uploaded to the provider's systems | With the organization, where it already lives |
| Who controls access | The provider and the customer, under contract | The organization, behind its own passphrase |
| Without a connection | Unavailable | Works once a model is installed |
| How use is metered | Typically counted per request | Priced by the hour of server time; nothing is counted per question |
Capability that matches the sensitivity
Private AI has often meant accepting a weaker model, and the lualdi.ai catalog is built to remove that compromise.
The catalog of 24 models runs from a compact assistant for everyday work up to frontier-class reasoning and coding models, so an organization can match the model to the task without leaving its own walls. At the top sits lualdi-apex, the firm's most capable model. It is highly specialized: built for specific sectors and capabilities, it works through long, difficult problems in those areas from start to finish.
Two companion capabilities extend the same boundary. GRIZZLY puts AI agents inside lualdi.ai; they take on whole tasks and work with an organization's own files and systems while running entirely on its servers. NOLAN brings the web's knowledge onto those servers as an offline internet, ready wherever and whenever there is no connection.
"Every privacy policy is a promise about what someone else will do with your data. The strongest answer to a promise is a system that never needs one. With lualdi.ai the models run where the data lives, so nothing has to leave for AI to be useful."
— Alex Lualdi - CEO, Lualdi Advisors
Who it is built for
lualdi.ai is built for defense, finance and large enterprise, and for professionals who handle sensitive client information.
Use is unlimited. Nothing is counted per question and heavy use is never penalized, which lets an organization bring the models into every team and every workflow and use them as much as the work demands.
Availability and how to get started
lualdi.ai is deployed on dedicated GPU servers inside the organization and priced by the hour of server time. Organizations can request access at lualdiadvisors.com/lualdi-ai, and the firm prepares each install for the client concerned.
For background on the approach, the firm's guides cover how to run a private LLM on your own servers and how air-gapped AI works when the servers never connect. Organizations that want help designing the rollout can speak to the firm's AI Integration practice.
Conclusion
The AI privacy problem has a plain cause: the model and the data have lived in different places. lualdi.ai puts them in the same place, inside the client's boundary, with training and operation both handled there. The firm's view is that this ends the old trade between capability and confidentiality for organizations whose most valuable data is also their most sensitive, and that it will matter most where the cost of exposure is highest.
The model goes to the data. The data stays home. Everything else about private AI follows from that.
