AGENTS

Defined Input · Decision Boundary · Single Output

Lualdi Advisors has built and specified more than 250 decision agents across eight industries — each one with a defined input, a decision boundary, and a single output the operator can act on. No summarize-the-news filler.

An agent, in this practice, is a single decision atom — one defined input, one decision boundary, one output the operator can act on. Most of these atoms live inside client engagements: declared once, configured to a desk's own data, deployed behind the firewall. The catalogue below is the underlying atom inventory: 250+ representative agents per industry, the kinds of decisions Lualdi Advisors knows how to encode at the atom level. Any single concept can be developed into a full spec: agent loop, data sources, costs, who pays, and defensibility vs. an in-house team building the same thing. This is a build-to-fit practice, not a product menu.

// 01What an Agent Is, In This Practice

Three boundaries every Lualdi agent has — and what we don't build.

The word "agent" is now overloaded. In Lualdi practice it has a specific meaning: a decision system with explicit inputs, an explicit decision boundary, and exactly one output an operator can act on or override. If a candidate concept doesn't fit those three boundaries, it isn't an agent we'll build — it's an unbounded chatbot dressed in a different name.

// 01

Defined input

Every agent declares exactly what it consumes — futures curves, AIS positions, FDA calendars, claims data, satellite imagery, rent rolls, port arrivals. No "all available information." The input set is finite, sourced, and contractable.

// 02

Decision boundary

The agent makes one kind of call — buy / hedge / wait; supported / stretched; comply / re-route; pass / fail. The decision space is small enough to validate, large enough to matter. Drift outside the boundary is a defect, not a feature.

// 03

Single output, operator-actionable

One number, one tag, one draft document, one queued action. The operator reads it, signs or overrides, moves on. No essays, no five-tab dashboards, no "here's what I noticed." The output queues for approval before any write to a system of record.

If a system doesn't have a defined input, a decision boundary, and a single operator-actionable output, it isn't an agent. It's a summary. Lualdi Advisors doesn't build summaries.
// 02Cross-Industry · A Slice of 250+

Cross-industry. One discipline, applied wherever data lives.

The full catalogue runs past 250 specified agents — too many to list, and most live inside specific client engagements. The grid below names a representative sample per industry, by working title only. Each one has a full spec the firm can produce in a discovery call: the data sources, the decision boundary, the output, the operator loop, the defensibility argument.

This is a representative sample, not the full inventory. If the decision you're trying to make doesn't appear above — that's expected. The 250+ catalogue includes far narrower instruments, and the firm builds new ones to spec inside every engagement. The catalogue is a starting point, not a menu.

// 03From Concept to Live Deployment

How an agent moves from the catalogue to a desk running on it.

The catalogue line is a starting point. What turns a name into a deployed agent inside a client's infrastructure is the engagement loop the firm runs every time.

01

Spec

The discovery call narrows the catalogue entry to a written spec — data sources (named feeds, refresh cadence), the decision boundary, the output schema, the operator approval gate, and the defensibility argument against an in-house build. If the spec doesn't fit on one page, we haven't finished it.

02

Configure

The agent is configured against the client's specific data — their suppliers, their universe, their compliance regime, their thresholds, their definition of "supported." Inside SIGMA / MITHRIL / ORIGINS / CARRIER / REALIST where appropriate; standalone where not.

03

Ship

Shadow runs against the client's existing process for a documented test window, then live operation with operator-signed decisions. Every run snapshotted to the audit log. Refit dates pinned. The operator owns the agent; the firm remains accessible for support.
